Job summary

VTG Defense seeks a Sr Systems Engineer in Chantilly, VA to provide SE&I support for complex programs. You will lead requirements analysis, architecture development, and configuration management, coordinating across multiple stakeholder groups and leadership.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in systems engineering, 5+ years with Intelligence Community programs, and an active TS/SCI clearance w/ Poly. Starting pay ranges from $150,000 to $195,000 annually depending on experience and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, CS, or related field.
15+ years of systems engineering experience.
5+ years IC systems engineering experience.
Active TS/SCI clearance w/ Poly.
Experience with SE standards and methodologies.
Strong facilitation and communication across technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

Execute full lifecycle systems engineering activities including requirements management, configuration management, and architecture development
Support risk management processes and maintain technical documentation
Facilitate change management processes and coordinate requirements across diverse stakeholder groups
Develop system architectures and maintain requirements traceability matrices
Provide technical analysis and develop reports for program leadership
Support working groups integrated product teams, and technical review boards
Develop briefing materials and present technical assessments to senior leadership
Conduct systems engineering studies and provide outputs to program leadership
