N/A in Herndon, VA is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with a current TS/SCI clearance to join an integrated team developing software for defense and intelligence communities. This onsite role demands leadership in enterprise architecture, requirements capture, and MBSE-driven development.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years (or 12+ years) in systems engineering, experience with Agile/Scrum (Jira), MBSE, and System V concepts, and is willing to obtain a CI Polygraph clearance.

Qualifications

• Must have a current TS/SCI security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline; in lieu of a degree, 4 additional years of experience may be substituted.
• 5+ years of experience or 12+ years of experience in systems engineering.
• Experience in requirements analysis, interface control documentation, ConOps, Use Case development, data flows, and test planning.
• Familiarity with a Requirements Tool.
• Scrum/Agile Development (Jira).
• Familiar with deployment and maintenance of Development, Test and Operational environments.
• Certification in MBSE.
• Experience with model-based systems engineering for software and system development projects.
• Familiar with System V concepts and MBSE realization in a model.
• Experience with Agile or SAFe development processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering and enterprise architecture support to customers.
• Collaborate with customers to improve architecture and engineering workflows and processes.
• Articulate and capture architecture, system requirements, design, and testing approaches.
• Analyze current architectures or workflows and recommend To-Be states.
• Develop standard, repeatable processes for architecture, engineering, development and integration projects.
• Produce and support Enterprise Architecture Repository artifacts for leadership.
• Support engineering review boards.
