Job summary

Calvert Systems seeks a System Engineer 6 to lead full technical execution of major DoD programs. This role oversees lab infrastructure and networks, ensuring cost, schedule and quality while mentoring junior engineers.

Strong leadership in SIGINT/Cyber disciplines is required, with ability to interface with government stakeholders and senior leaders to resolve issues and guide program direction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM field required; 14+ years experience or Master's with 12+ years; PhD with 10+ years may be considered.
• Experience managing computer machine rooms, power, space and cooling, rack-mounted hardware, and network switches.
• Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT, EW, and Cyber disciplines with broad experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct end-to-end execution for major product lines or mission critical programs.
• Lead lab infrastructure and networks for testing new solutions.
• Interface with government overseers, customers and senior executives to resolve technical conflicts.
• Mentor junior engineers and support lab operations.
