Job summary

Calvert Systems Engineering is seeking a System Engineer to support DoD programs at Offutt AFB, NE. The role requires Top Secret/SI eligibility and active clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.

You will help translate requirements into technical solutions, ensure security/compliance, and support system life cycle across software, hardware, and architecture domains. You will collaborate with program offices and Chief Engineers, implement DevSecOps, participate in technical reviews, and support

Qualifications

• Experience supporting systems engineering activities with program offices and Chief Engineers.
• Knowledge of Agile DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, cloud technologies and microservice architectures.
• Ability to translate requirements into technical solutions and review engineering artifacts.
• Experience ensuring software and system quality and supporting security/compliance processes.
• Experience supporting application development, testing, certification and production delivery.

Responsibilities

• Use SEP and IPT-tailored DevSecOps processes to prepare briefings or written material for reviews.
• Provide direct support to Chief Engineer and engineering authorities as requested.
• Support Test, Integration, and Cybersecurity branches, including STIG process for new deliveries.
• Integrate user requirements into planning and programming processes and documents.
• Review documentation for configuration management, testing policies and design directives.
• Develop test plans/reports and coordinate tests with multiple stakeholders.
• Assist in security evaluations and cloud migration/maintenance activities.
• Support program reviews, TIMs, PMRs, and other technical meetings with assessments.
