Job summary

Technology Partners Inc. seeks an Engineer 3, Systems to ensure high availability of rental systems blending cloud, web, and legacy tech. You will bridge development and operations, monitor health, and drive reliability under SLA constraints.

You will tackle production issues, lead capacity planning, and mentor junior staff while collaborating with architects on architectural adjustments and standards. Requires security-first mindset and 5+ years in relevant tech stack.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software development support using C/C++, JAVA, PL/SQL, and shell scripting.
• 5+ years with Middleware (Tuxedo, WebLogic, Tomcat).
• 5+ years of AIX system administration and tools.
• 5+ years with monitoring/observability tools (Splunk, Dynatrace).
• Strong commitment to security-first practices.

Responsibilities

• Routinely monitor solution health and ensure all rental solutions meet SLAs.
• Assist with complex production issues, including performance and outages.
• Monitor system health during maintenance events (patches/upgrades).
• Act as SME and represent the department on complex assignments.
• Evaluate technology, research, and recommend improvements.
• Contribute to strategic capacity planning.
• Define and implement standards, processes, and procedures.
• Collaborate with Architects and adjust architecture as needed.
• Provide instruction to less senior team members.
