Job summary

Technology Partners is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer - Site Reliability Engineering to ensure high-availability rental ticketing systems across cloud, web services, and legacy infrastructure. You will monitor health, troubleshoot production issues, and drive reliability improvements in a largely remote role within United States CST hours.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a software development or engineering environment supporting cloud, middleware, and infrastructure solutions.
• Proficiency with supporting languages and technologies such as Java, Web Services, C/C++, and PL/SQL.
• At least 2 years of experience configuring middleware like Tuxedo, WebLogic, and Tomcat.
• Hands-on experience as an AIX/Linux system administrator with supporting tools.
• 2+ years of scripting experience in Shell/Bash, Python, Perl, PowerShell, or similar.
• Experience with monitoring and diagnostic tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or equivalents.
• Ability to work within CST hours with U.S. work authorization, without sponsorship needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
• Must be committed to security best practices in daily tasks.

What You Will Be Doing:
You will be an integral part of the IT Rental Operations Products team, supporting mission-critical rental ticketing systems. In this role, you will ensure the availability, performance, and efficiency of complex hybrid solutions spanning cloud, web services, and legacy infrastructure. You will monitor solution health, troubleshoot production issues, and lead initiatives to improve system reliability. Additionally, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including development and operations, to incorporate best practices in supporting our API-first strategy. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to work remotely within the United States, mostly within U.S. Central Standard Time core hours.
