Job summary

RealmOne in Maryland seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to design and optimize end user architectures and run critical Windows/VMware environments. You will work with network, storage, and server teams to deliver robust desktop systems and capacity planning for government missions.

The role requires DoD IAM Level I+ certification and an active polygraph, with extensive ISO/IEC 15288 process experience and leadership responsibilities across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/engineering plus 15+ years systems engineering experience (Master's substitutes 2 years).
• DoD 8570 IAM Level I+ certification required.
• Active Security Clearance with polygraph required.
• Experience with ISO/IEC 15288 processes and system engineering activities.

Responsibilities

• Assess end user architectures and system administration solutions to meet capabilities.
• Administer Windows and VMware environments and desktop-based systems.
• Coordinate with network, storage, and server teams to define solutions.
• Install, configure, and manage user desktops for critical access systems.
