Job summary

RealmOne is seeking a Systems Engineer – SME to support mission-critical enterprise infrastructure and security operations for a key U.S. Government customer.

The role requires deep expertise across cloud and on‑prem environments, with ownership of system reliability, performance, scalability, and security. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional collaboration with Infrastructure, Platform, DevSecOps, Data teams, and executives, delivering end-to-end modernization and transformations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, certifications, training, and experience.
• 10+ years of related systems engineering experience.
• Active security clearance with polygraph is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on systems engineering across network, compute, storage, OS, middleware, databases, and applications.
• Analyze and document current infrastructure, platform, and application architectures.
• Lead and execute cloud and on‑prem system implementations, migrations, and upgrades.
• Ensure availability, performance, security, and compliance of systems.
• Produce clear technical documentation, diagrams, and runbooks.
