Job summary

RealmOne in Columbia, MD is seeking a seasoned Windows Engineer to manage, optimize, and secure enterprise Windows environments. You will lead projects, tune systems, and provide expert guidance across end-user and server domains.

Candidates should have strong AD and VDI experience, extensive Windows system tuning, and proven project leadership. A Security+ certification and active clearance are required for this government-oriented role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related IT field, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years IT engineering experience in government-like programs.
• Security+ certification required.
• Experience managing Windows-based enterprise IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot Windows IT systems to meet rigorous standards.
• Manage Active Directory environments and VDI for performance and security.
• Lead medium to large-scale technical projects with timely delivery.
• Deliver technical briefs to stakeholders, technical and non-technical audiences.
• Oversee Windows installation, upgrades, maintenance, and ongoing support.
