Job summary

VT Group (VTG) is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to contribute to closing the intercept capability gap for state and local law enforcement. The role is 100% onsite in Fredericksburg, VA, requiring a Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Qualifications include a BS in an applicable field, 7+ years in security-focused system design, CISSP certification, and experience with network troubleshooting, VPNs, and packet analysis tools such as Wireshark.

Qualifications

Must be a US Citizen with a Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
Bachelor of science degree in an applicable field.
Minimum of seven years of technical experience in security requirements and system design.
CISSP certification and training as a certified ethical hacker; strong network troubleshooting experience.
Proficiency configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network devices and VPN/VoIP protocols.
Position contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

Provide services in the general Solution Verification Testing process and related activities.
Research ELSUR and prepare ATP addendum for platform testing.
Execute test plan addendum on-site or remote for standards and operational testing.
Collect and analyze test data; quantify issues in ELSUR solutions.
Verify ELSUR solutions meet CALEA and industry standards.
Recommend corrective action to manufacturers based on results.
Develop test plans; archive data and produce test results documentation.
Generate reports within two weeks of assessments; document in FBI records.
Collaborate with OTD, NDCAC, LE agencies as appropriate.
Brief CIP personnel on test results and discuss findings.
