VT Group (VTG) is seeking a System Engineer II in Chantilly, VA to translate mission needs into verifiable requirements and engineering products. You will lead requirements development, maintain end-to-end traceability, and coordinate across software, network, cyber, and cloud domains.

Responsibilities include contributing to technical reviews, developing system architecture artifacts, and supporting verification planning and test readiness.

Formación

• TS/SCI with Poly required.
• 5+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Experience with requirements management.
• Experience in a structured delivery environment (Agile, iterative, or traditional lifecycles).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, IT, or related field.
• MBSE/SysML/DoDAF familiarity; government programs experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead/support requirements development, decomposition, and management; maintain end-to-end traceability from mission needs through verification.
• Develop and maintain systems engineering artifacts (e.g., system specs, interface documentation, architecture views, technical baselines).
• Support integration planning and coordination across engineering disciplines (software, network, cyber, cloud, test).
• Contribute to technical reviews (SRR/PDR/CDR or equivalent); prepare materials and close actions.
• Support verification planning and test readiness activities; ensure requirements are measurable and testable.
• Identify technical risks/issues and propose mitigations; support configuration and change control processes.
