Job summary

VT Group (VTG) in Springfield, VA is seeking a Senior Test Systems Engineer to help lead Application, System and Integration Testing across NSG/ASG and federal agencies to ensure timely and accurate GEOINT.

The role guides mid-level and junior engineers, conducts API testing in DevOps pipelines, performs independent integration testing, and plans manual and automated test scripts while supporting defect investigations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/IT/Engineering or related STEM field.
• Senior-level systems integration experience in government or industry.
• 12–18 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
• Experience with Agile and DevOps testing practices.
• U.S. Citizenship with TS/SCI clearance and Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Lead test systems engineering teams across NSG/ASG and Federal Agencies.
• Perform testing of applications and APIs in DevOps pipelines.
• Conduct independent integration testing of system software and hardware.
• Plan and execute manual tests and automated test scripts.
• Support investigations for defects discovered during testing.
