Job summary

Unlimited Technology is seeking a SYSTEMS ENGINEER III to support security system design and project execution for NYC-area clients. The role interfaces with UT’s Engineering, Operations, and Business Development teams to drive completed projects and effective customer solutions.

The candidate will coordinate internal resources, handle installations, and work on enterprise-scale security deployments with limited remote access at some sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5+ years in a technical focus
• Team oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Hands-on experience with security manufacturers noted above
• Local to NYC and able to travel to client sites

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with engineering and operations to complete project closeout
• Communicate project status with Project Managers
• Manage installation and service tickets
• Shift between projects to support and execute engineering tasks
• Travel to NYC metro area sites for commissioning as needed
• Program various supported systems and platforms listed
• Configure networks, VLANs, and routing as required
• Interface with customers as SME and plan complex upgrades
