Job summary

Columbia Technology Partners seeks a Principal Systems Engineer to architect, integrate, and sustain large-scale, secure analytic platforms. You will lead end-to-end lifecycle activities, leveraging COTS/GOTS solutions for mission processing systems such as XKEYSCORE-like environments.

Expect senior technical leadership across integration, automation, and operational sustainment. Required: 20+ years in systems engineering, a relevant degree, and experience with secure, high-availability

Qualifications

• 20+ years of Systems Engineering experience in large-scale programs.
• Bachelor's degree required; five additional years substitution allowed.
• Experience with large-scale analytic, SIGINT, or mission processing systems in secure environments.

Responsibilities

• Architect, integrate, test, deploy, and sustain packet-based hardware and software systems in large-scale distributed environments.
• Lead end-to-end system integration across compute, storage, network, and software components.
• Develop and execute system integration, validation, verification, and deployment strategies.
• Design, maintain, and enhance automation scripts (BASH, PERL) for provisioning and configuration management.
• Drive automation initiatives to improve reliability, efficiency, and maintainability.
• Provide senior-level technical leadership, troubleshooting, and lifecycle sustainment in operational settings.
• Deliver technical training and mentorship while enforcing security and CM requirements for classified systems.
