Job summary

Nyla Technology Solutions seeks a versatile Software Engineer with active TS/SCI polygraph clearance to design, maintain, and enhance mission-critical software systems. You will tackle processing-intensive analytics across large datasets, and drive novel algorithms while integrating COTS/GOTS tools.

The role offers a base salary range of $186,000–$220,000 USD and comprehensive benefits. Columbia, Maryland-based company with a focus on AI, data science, and software engineering for the U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering full lifecycle software engineering.
• Hands-on with processing-intensive analytics on large data.
• Strong algorithm development and system-level requirements synthesis.
• Ability to analyze hardware vs software trade-offs and reuse.
• Experience reviewing SPRs and evaluating COTS/GOTS.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and enhance complex software systems across lifecycles.
• Develop processing-intensive analytics and work with large datasets in real time.
• Evaluate hardware/software trade-offs and drive scalable code decisions.
• Integrate COTS/GOTS solutions to replace custom development when applicable.
