Job summary

Columbia Technology Partners seeks a Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems supporting mission-critical operations. In this role you will participate in all phases of the software lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment and sustainment, with opportunities for entry-level to senior leadership contributions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
Level framework: Level 0–3 with specified years of experience (0/7/14/20).

Responsibilities

Analyze user requirements to derive design and performance needs.
Design, develop, test, document, and maintain software applications and system components.
Debug existing software and resolve defects to improve functionality.
Integrate software into new or existing systems and environments.
Develop and maintain database interfaces, queries, and data repositories.
Implement algorithms to satisfy performance, scalability, and functional requirements.
Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to derive software requirements and resolve challenges.
Participate in software testing, QA, and verification activities.
Recommend and implement improvements to development processes and documentation standards.
Design and implement complex algorithms, interfaces, and software architectures.
Lead software development efforts and oversee team activities.
Coordinate software installation, deployment, and operational support.
Recommend new technologies and engineering practices to improve software solutions.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship across teams.
Support customer engagement activities and strategic software decisions.
