Job summary

Columbia Technology Partners is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to architect, integrate, and sustain large-scale packet-based systems in secure environments. You will lead end-to-end integration across compute, storage, network, and software while driving automation and lifecycle sustainment.

Qualifications

• Twenty years of Systems Engineering experience in large-scale programs.
• Degree plus equivalent experience; 5 years may substitute for a degree.
• Experience with analytic or mission processing systems in secure environments.

Responsibilities

• Architect, integrate, test, deploy and sustain large-scale packet-based systems.
• Lead end-to-end system integration across compute, storage, network and software.
• Develop validation, verification, and deployment strategies for readiness.
• Design and maintain automation scripts (BASH, PERL) for provisioning and config mgmt.
• Drive automation to improve reliability and maintainability across distributed infra.
• Provide senior technical leadership and troubleshooting in ops environments.
• Deliver training and mentorship while enforcing security and CM requirements.
