Job summary

G2 Ops, Inc. in San Diego, CA, is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to develop mechanical drawings and Technical Design Packages for antenna and RF systems, supporting mission-critical defense initiatives.

You will translate requirements into contract-ready designs, manage technical data, and coordinate with suppliers, government stakeholders, and program teams. A hybrid schedule is available based on program needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or STEM field.
• 7+ years of mechanical, systems, electromechanical, CAD, or defense engineering experience.
• Advanced experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD for 2D drafting and 3D modeling.
• Experience developing and maintaining Technical Design Packages.
• Active DoD Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Create schematic diagrams, drawings, and 2D/3D CAD models for antenna and RF systems.
• Develop and maintain contract-ready Technical Design Packages.
• Incorporate supplier revisions and engineering changes while maintaining configuration control.
• Evaluate mechanical interfaces, materials, packaging, installation, and PCB integration.
• Coordinate with electrical, supplier, government, and program stakeholders.
• Serve as SME for drawing packages and present updates during reviews.
