Job summary

Antares in Torrance, CA is seeking a Systems Engineer to own product quality from design through operation. You will work with Quality, Mission Engineering, Mechanical Design, and Nuclear Licensing to ensure requirements are captured, validated, and verified throughout the reactor lifecycle.

The role emphasizes deep dive into design details, building robust processes, and maintaining safety and performance standards from concept to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or related).
• 4+ years of experience in design or product development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage reactor requirements based on customer specifications and design codes.
• Review and develop guidance to ensure compliance with ASME and other design codes.
• Establish and manage design reviews, document feedback, track actions, and verify assumptions.
• Conduct reliability analyses and risk assessments during design and development phases.
• Collaborate with design engineers to incorporate reliability and quality considerations into new products.
• Identify failure modes, drive root-cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to establish scalable design processes.
