The role requires 8+ years in reliability work, strong statistics knowledge, and experience building FMEA, fault trees, and availability models to improve uptime and mission readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 8+ years of reliability engineering experience.
• Knowledge of statistics, probability, failure modes, and reliability fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Own quantitative reliability analysis for the R1 microreactor.
• Establish reliability targets for reactor systems and components.
• Develop models (fault trees, FMEA, reliability growth) and track outcomes.
• Calculate MTBF, MTTR, availability and mission success metrics.
