Job summary

Antares is seeking a Systems Engineer to own the quality of the product from design through operation and decommissioning. The role collaborates with Quality, Mission Engineering, Mechanical Design, Nuclear Licensing to ensure requirements are incorporated, validated, and verified throughout the reactor lifecycle.

You will perform reliability analyses, identify risks, and implement robust design processes to ensure safety and performance from concept to production, enabling scalable product

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or related discipline).
• 4+ years of experience in design or product development.
• Ability to obtain a Top Secret or Top Secret SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage requirements for reactors based on customer specifications, safety regulations, and design/construction codes.
• Develop and implement processes for validating analysis methodologies.
• Review and develop guidance to ensure compliance with ASME and other design codes.
• Establish and manage design reviews, document feedback, track actions, and verify assumptions.
• Conduct reliability analyses and risk assessments during design and development phases.
• Collaborate with design engineers to incorporate reliability and quality considerations into new product designs.
• Identify failure modes and drive root-cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Work with cross-functional teams to establish scalable design processes.
