Job summary

RTX's Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities Center in Woburn, MA is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to join the Systems Integration & Test Long Range Radars Department. You will support radar programs such as AN/TPY-2, EWR, and OTHR, collaborating on verification, integration, and customer communications.

The role requires a STEM degree with 8+ years of experience, and proficiency in MATLAB, Python, C/C++, Linux/Unix. On-site work in Woburn, top security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires degree in STEM and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, Linux, and/or Unix.
• Experience with systems integration, test, and/or verification.

Responsibilities

• Support the Systems Verification Lead on requirements verification task and scope planning, creating milestones, scheduling/managing competing task priorities, and customer presentations.
• Strengthen the team’s data analysis, requirements verification, systems integration, software development, and work with internal and external customers.
• Develop scenarios to support testing, data analysis, and software development.
• Collaborate with systems engineers to resolve radar technical issues.
