Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of defense/aerospace/space industry experience.
• Advanced knowledge of MBSE, systems architecture, and Agile.
• Excellent communication to explain complex concepts to engineering teams, program leadership, customers, and executive stakeholders.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
• Proactive in identifying risks and mentoring engineers.
• Be capable of independently managing multiple complex technical priorities while coordinating cross-functional activities to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering for proposal development, architecture definition, and BOEs.
• Define system architectures, requirements decomposition, interfaces, trade studies, and technical baselines across Space and Ground Segments.
• Coordinate technical collaboration across Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, PM, Business Development, and other stakeholders.
• Demonstrate advanced systems engineering knowledge to develop innovative technical solutions and evaluate design alternatives.
• Lead complex system analyses (functional, performance, interface, requirements) with data-driven conclusions.
• Coordinate technical deliverables, proposal schedules, engineering estimates, and milestone execution.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and promote best practices.
