Job summary

Randstad Digital in Sinton, Texas is seeking a Systems Engineer to design, maintain, and upgrade a robust virtualization and Windows Server infrastructure. You will own enterprise systems including Active Directory, Office 365, disaster recovery backups, and cybersecurity platforms with 24/7 on-call or on-site support as needed.

This permanent, on-site role requires 5+ years of server experience, strong collaboration with IT peers, and the ability to translate business requirements into reliable

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing and maintaining a server infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, support and upgrade a Virtualized and Windows Server Infrastructure
• Install, configure, and administer software and hardware
• Document and maintain backups for disaster recovery and daily support requirements
• Maintain Active Directory and Office 365 permissions and licenses
• Maintain the cybersecurity platform (antivirus, threat protection, encryption)
• Monitor server performance, integrity, and availability
• Keep OS patches and software up to date
• Coordinate with vendors and internal customers on platform issues
• Create technical documents outlining the virtualized server infrastructure
• Work with end-users to interpret business requirements
• Collaborate with IT team to resolve server issues
• Provide 24/7 on-call or on-site support as needed
