Job summary

Peraton is seeking an Operations and Maintenance Engineer in Herndon, VA to support unclassified and classified software development projects including Big Data, AI, ML, and analytics. The role requires monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of multi-platform systems, with on-site work and on-call support on a rotation.

Qualifications include a BS with 5+ years or MS with 3+ years; TS/SCI with Poly and ability to obtain Security+CE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience; Master’s degree with 3+ years; a PhD and 0+ years of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement
• Experience managing and monitoring large clusters (>400 nodes) and applications both containerized and non-containerized.
• Experience implementing and providing technical support of multi-platform, multi-system networks.
• Active TS/SCI with Poly
• Ability to obtain Security+CE certification (must obtain before starting)
