Job summary

Aviation Systems Engineering Company (ASEC) is seeking a Network-Focused, Senior Systems Engineer to shape next‑generation military training systems at NAS Fallon, NV. This on‑site role requires a Top Secret clearance and a hands‑on background in systems integration and networked simulation environments.

You will lead engineering analyses, translate mission needs into specs, and assess vulnerabilities across interconnected training domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on systems engineering experience in modeling, simulation, or training environments.
• At least 5 years of acquisition lifecycle support, with 2 years in DoD training or training systems programs.
• Experience with reliability & maintainability, EMI, integrated logistics, cost estimation, risk analysis, and human systems integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support systems engineering analyses including requirements development, feasibility assessments, and trade studies across performance, affordability, maintainability, and integration domains.
• Evaluate and translate operational needs into system performance specifications, ensuring parameters align with requirements.
• Conduct vulnerability, susceptibility, and compatibility assessments for interconnected training and simulation systems.
• Must travel up to 10% as required.
