Job summary

ASEC in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership for the design, integration, testing, and sustainment of advanced Live, Virtual, and Constructive training systems supporting Navy and coalition readiness. The role requires 10+ years in DoD systems engineering, architecture development, ICDs, and distributed simulation, with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS, Math, or related STEM field.
• 10+ years of DoD systems engineering experience (architecture, requirements, integration).
• Proven ability to lead cross-stakeholder integration of LVC environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for design, integration, testing, and sustainment of LVC training systems.
• Lead integration of live platforms, simulators, and constructive environments across distributed settings.
• Develop system architectures, interface requirements, and technical roadmaps.
• Coordinate with fleet representatives to align training capabilities with needs.
• Oversee lifecycle requirements and engineering documentation.
