Job summary

AIS Portfolio Services, LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer to deliver and maintain system and network solutions in a 24x7 environment. You will design, deploy, and optimize LAN/WAN, VLAN routing, servers, SANs, VMware, SRA, and security infrastructure.

Responsibilities include on-call support, incident response, and documentation across Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and VPNs. Candidates should have strong IT security and vendor coordination experience.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years IT, IT security and physical security experience.
• Pass a 10-year background check and drug screen.
• Certifications such as Microsoft, A+/Network+ or Security+ are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain complex networks (LAN/WAN) and VLAN routing.
• Configure servers, SANs, VMware, and Site Recovery environments.
• Manage firewalls, VPNs, and secure remote access.
• Monitor performance, capacity, and security; drive improvements.
• Provide Tier 1–2 end-user and device support; on-site and remote.
• Maintain documentation, incident response plans, and SOPs.
• Support data center operations, backups, and facilities security.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware, software, and licenses.
• Travel to Texas/Oklahoma offices for on-site support as needed.
