E-INFOSOL LLC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead design, deployment, and optimization of network hardware, server environments, and storage/backups in Vienna, VA. The role involves day-to-day operations, troubleshooting at physical and logical layers, and advising on infrastructure strategy.

The candidate will operate independently or as a team lead, with responsibilities spanning client/server architecture, cloud/on-premises environments, and technology investments.

Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret Security Clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 7–9 years of experience in large-scale enterprise IT environments (cloud, datacenter, networking).
• Experience with virtualization and network administration.
• Proven ability to lead as an individual contributor or team lead.
• Scripting and automation development experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and implement changes to network hardware and server environments.
• Provide day-to-day operational support for network hardware and OS.
• Troubleshoot physical and logical network issues.
• Plan and design new network infrastructure for voice and data.
• Perform systems management and integration with virtualization.
• Maintain network standards including TCP/IP.
• Provide technical training and support to IT staff.
• Diagnose and resolve complex communications problems.
• Own storage and backup design, testing, and patching.
• Ensure systems are patched and compliant; write SOPs.
