Job summary

ITAC Solutions is seeking a seasoned Sr. Network Systems Engineer to architect, secure, and optimize enterprise systems across hybrid on-prem and Azure cloud environments.

This hands-on role combines networking, systems engineering and cybersecurity to ensure high availability, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across all infrastructure layers. The position requires strong VMware, SAN, firewall experience and SOC2/HIPAA/PCI/NIST compliance knowledge, with opportunities to grow

Qualifications

• Experience designing and securing enterprise networks.
• Experience implementing SOC2, HIPAA, PCI, and NIST standards.
• Proficiency with ManageEngine or similar monitoring tools.
• Experience with Windows Server, AD, GPO, and NTFS on multi-domain forests.
• Familiarity with VMware, SAN, and firewall configurations.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure enterprise networks (LAN/WAN, VLAN, VPN).
• Administer and optimize Azure environments (VMs, networking, identity, backup).
• Manage Windows Server environments, AD, GPO, NTFS permissions across forests.
• Configure and maintain VMware vSphere, Horizon, SAN storage, and firewalls.
• Lead SOC2 compliance and audit readiness through documentation and processes.
• Oversee endpoint protection, patch management, and security logging via SIEM.
• Collaborate with IT leadership to design scalable infrastructure improvements.

Compensation: $110 – 130K

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure enterprise networks including LAN/WAN, VLAN, and VPN architecture
• Administer and optimize Azure environments, including virtual machines, networking, identity, and backup services
• Manage Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, and NTFS permissions across multi-domain forests
• Configure and maintain VMware vSphere and Horizon VDI environments, SAN storage, and firewall systems
• Lead SOC2 compliance and audit readiness through accurate documentation and process implementation
• Oversee endpoint protection, patch management, and security logging using SIEM integrations
• Collaborate with IT leadership to design scalable infrastructure improvements and implement emerging technologies

What You’ll Need to be Considered

• Strong knowledge of VMware, SAN, and enterprise firewall configuration
• Experience implementing and supporting SOC2, HIPAA, PCI, and NIST compliance standards
• Proficiency in ManageEngine or similar enterprise monitoring and administration tools
• Familiarity with SQL, Exchange, BitLocker, and MDM technologies
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose complex infrastructure issues and provide scalable solutions
