Job summary

AIS InfoSource in Houston, TX seeks a Systems Engineer to participate in the delivery, implementation, and maintenance of system and network solutions to support continuous operations. The role spans design through operations, gathering network requirements, and implementing solutions that ensure performance and availability of server and network services.

The candidate will work in a 24×7 environment, with on-call commitments and off-hour maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

10 to 15 years of experience in IT, IT security and physical security.
Vendor management experience.
Must pass a 10-year background check and drug screening.
Technology-related associate’s degree or equivalent training (5–6 years).

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN), including switches and VLAN routing.
Configure and install servers and SANs; implement VMware and Site Recovery/replication (SRA).
Administer SonicWall firewalls, ZTNA, site-to-site and client-to-server VPNs.
Monitor network performance, capacity, and integrity; recommend improvements.
Support migration from on-premises to colocation and cloud (MS 365, AWS EC2).
Maintain Data Center operational integrity and power systems (UPS, generators).
Provide Tier 1-2 support for laptops/desktops/mobile devices and core business apps.
Manage user accounts in Active Directory and Entra ID; MFA resets and licensing.
Manage endpoint devices via Intune; SaaS provisioning and SSO.
Automation of routine tasks and delivery of recurring operational reports.
