Job summary

Agio in Texas is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our Managed Services team. The role focuses on advanced technical support, escalation handling, and delivering strategic IT solutions for clients.

You will mentor junior engineers, work with clients to ensure seamless IT operations, and drive projects such as server migrations, cloud deployments, and security improvements. Strong communication and documentation skills are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in IT support, preferably MSP.
• Expert Windows Server (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO) knowledge.
• VMware/Hyper-V experience.
• Cloud platforms Azure/AWS proficiency.
• Strong networking knowledge (firewalls, VPNs, switches).
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Advanced troubleshooting across hardware, software, and networks.
• Relevant certifications such as MCSE, CCNP, VCP, or AWS Solutions Architect.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Escalation support for servers, networks, and critical infrastructure.
• System administration of client IT environments.
• Configure firewalls, VPNs, switches, and wireless devices.
• Implement and manage security solutions.
• Lead large-scale projects like server migrations and cloud deployments.
• Provide strategic IT recommendations to clients.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation.
• Mentor Tier 1 and Tier 2 engineers.
• Develop automation scripts to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with vendors on warranties, renewals, and licensing.
