IronEdge Group in Houston is seeking a Systems Engineer III to deliver advanced engineering solutions across diverse client environments, lead projects, and mentor junior engineers. You will design, deploy, and optimize cloud and hybrid solutions while serving as a trusted technical adviser to clients and internal teams.

This role requires strong troubleshooting, excellent documentation, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced MSP setting.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Professional Services within an MSP environment.
• Experience delivering client-facing presentations and executive briefings.
• Ability to develop detailed Statements of Work (SOWs) with timelines and deliverables.
• Experience leading pre-sales discovery sessions and strategic consulting.
• Strong English communication skills for clients and executives.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced configuration, deployment, and implementation of software, OS, cloud platforms across multiple domains.
• Lead projects as Senior Professional Services Engineer, partnering with Project Managers.
• Support pre-sales efforts with design reviews of enterprise-level solutions for cloud, on-prem, hosted environments.
• Provide troubleshooting, runbooks, and high-quality technical documentation.
• Mentor engineers, deliver end-user training, and maintain timely ticketing and time-entry.
