Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead complex missile system engineering efforts at the Chandler, AZ site. You will own trade studies, manage ICDs across mechanical, electrical, data, and software interfaces, and guide cross-functional IPTs with a strong MBSE background.

The role requires experience with EVM, CAM, and integration planning, plus a DoD Secret security clearance.

Qualifications

• MBSE methods and tools expertise required.
• Strong leadership of IPTs and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with boundary systems and interface control documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead system-level trade studies for missile systems.
• Develop and baseline ICDs for mechanical, electrical, data, and software interfaces.
• Apply MBSE to capture requirements and verification plans.
• Act as technical lead for multi-disciplinary teams.
• Manage CAM scope, cost, and schedule with EVM practices.
• Coordinate IPTs and drive risk management and issue resolution.
• Develop and maintain system artifacts and test strategies.
• Support integration, testing, and customer technical reviews.
