Job summary

KBR, Inc. seeks a Lead Systems Engineer to provide strategic technical leadership across the Fires portfolio. You will integrate weapons, sensors, launchers, C2 systems, and networks into interoperable capabilities, collaborating with government leadership and industry partners to deliver rapid, effective solutions.

The role requires extensive systems engineering expertise, acquisition, mission engineering, and MBSE, with travel and leadership responsibilities across multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly required.
• Minimum 20 years of technical experience.
• Master's degree or higher in Systems Engineering or related STEM field.
• Willingness to travel 20%.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead strategic engineering initiatives to advance tooling, methodologies and digital engineering for rapid warfighting capability delivery.
• Advise Government leadership on systems engineering, mission engineering, technology integration and capability development strategies.
• Develop long-range integration strategies, roadmaps, and modernization initiatives for the Fires portfolio.
• Oversee requirements, architecture evaluations, trade studies, and performance assessments to guide development paths.
• Lead MBSE adoption and alignment with Government Reference Architectures and digital engineering strategies.
