Job summary

nLogic is seeking an experienced ESS Terminals Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in El Segundo, CA. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining complex infrastructure, platform, and software systems supporting National Leadership Authority capabilities within a secure facility.

You will lead SE&I activities, collaborate with government civilians and contractors, and drive the development of requirements, ICDs, and integration plans for MILSATCOM space communication

Qualifications

• Current, in-scope Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science, or related technical field.
• 12+ years of engineering experience.
• 5+ years in Systems Engineering (requirements, test planning, integration, verification, and validation).
• Experience developing or managing requirements or ICDs for complex systems.
• Strong interpersonal, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• On-site work in a secure facility due to security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain complex infrastructure, platform, and software systems for National Leadership Authority capabilities.
• Collaborate with outside organizations to analyze requirements and oversee development, delivery, and implementation.
• Lead technical projects and contribute to best practices and documentation.
• Interface with SE&I team, contractors, government civilians, and USSF members to provide support.
