Job summary

KBR, Inc. seeks an ESS Terminals Systems Engineer to join our team in El Segundo, CA.

This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining complex infrastructure, platform, and software systems to support National Leadership Authority capabilities and secure communications for Space Force programs. The position requires deep knowledge of Protected SATCOM terminals, system architecture, and security protocols, with collaboration across contractors and government personnel to deliver

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science, or related technical field.
• 8+ years’ engineering experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in Systems Engineering (requirements & technical baseline development, test planning & integration, verification & validation).
• Experience developing or managing requirements or ICDs for complex systems.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• On-site work in a secure facility required due to security requirements.
