Job summary

SAIC is seeking an ESS Terminals Systems Engineer to join our team in El Segundo, CA. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining complex infrastructure, platform, and software systems to support National Leadership Authority capabilities.

You will work with SE&I teams, contractors, and government civilians to provide acquisition management support. Ideal candidates have DoD Secret clearance, 8+ years of engineering, 5+ years in Systems Engineering, and experience with

Qualifications

Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science, or related technical field.
8+ years’ engineering experience.
5+ years’ experience in Systems Engineering (requirements, baseline development, test planning/integration, verification, validation).
Experience developing or managing requirements or ICDs for complex systems.
Strong interpersonal, oral/written communication, and presentation skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
On-site work in a secure facility due to security requirements.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain complex infrastructure, platform, and software systems supporting National Leadership Authority capabilities.
Collaborate with outside organizations to analyze requirements and oversee development, delivery, and implementation.
Lead technical projects and contribute to best practices and documentation.
