Job summary

WOOD Federal Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer Level 6 (MBSE / Reverse Engineering) to provide senior-level systems engineering support at Fort Meade, MD. The role focuses on reverse engineering, MBSE modeling with Cameo, and documentation to understand and improve existing systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with MBSE and reverse engineering in complex environments.
• Ability to analyze systems, interfaces and architectures for reverse-engineering artifacts.
• Experience with ISO/IEC 15288 processes and enterprise process improvement.
• Strong communication and leadership skills for senior stakeholder engagement.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph and U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in ISO/IEC 15288 process areas.
• Analyze current processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and recommend improved workflows and operating practices.
• Apply Agile/SAFe and Lean Six Sigma to enterprise challenges.
• Lead workshops and cross-functional sessions with stakeholders.
• Support teams in maturing Agile and SAFe practices.
• Create process maps, dashboards, and documentation in JIRA/Confluence.
• Mentor teams on process-improvement practices and disciplined execution.
