Job summary

SimVentions in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking an entry-level Systems Engineer to join our TTWCS team. You will collaborate with fellow Systems Engineers and government personnel to develop requirements, define interfaces, and update architectural diagrams using MBSE methods.

The role requires US citizenship and an active Secret clearance, with weekly travel to NSWC Dahlgren. You will participate in IPTs, ERBs, DRBs and other reviews, applying strong communication and quick-learning abilities.

Qualifications

• Experience with MBSE methods and tools.
• Develop system designs and requirements.
• Ability to work in IPTs and with government personnel.

Responsibilities

• Determine weapon system impacts on requirements and design.
• Review and create requirements at multiple levels (SSS, SSDD, SRS, HRS).
• Develop Change Packages (CCP) to engineer new capabilities and document impacts.
• Review system architectures using modeling tools (e.g., MagicDraw).
• Provide human factors engineering and interface design support.
• Adjudicate comments for external interface documents.
• Create and resolve change requests related to design documentation and functionality.
• Participate in IPT meetings and engineering reviews (ERB/DRB/CRB/IWG).
• Engage in weekly team meetings and provide written/oral status updates.
