Job summary

WOOD Federal Solutions is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer (MBSE / Reverse Engineering) to provide expert support within a complex, mission-focused environment at Fort Meade. You will model architectures using MBSE tools and develop engineering artifacts to improve existing systems and capabilities.

Qualifications

• Serve as SME in ISO/IEC 15288 process areas
• Plan and develop engineering projects with major enterprise impact
• Independently resolve important engineering issues using advanced technology
• Communicate with program personnel, government stakeholders, and senior leadership
• Apply MBSE and reverse engineering methodologies to complex systems

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in ISO/IEC 15288 process areas.
• Analyze current processes to identify inefficiencies, gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and recommend improved processes, workflows, procedures, and operating practices.
• Apply Agile, SAFe, Lean Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies to enterprise challenges.
• Facilitate workshops and collaboration sessions with stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Support teams in implementing and maturing Agile and SAFe practices.
• Develop process maps, workflows, metrics, dashboards, and related artifacts.
• Use JIRA and Confluence to support workflow management and reporting.
• Assess process performance using quantitative and qualitative measures.
• Identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver IS0/IEC processes artifacts across domains.
• Support engineering standards and process implementations.
• Plan and support enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Mentor and coach teams on process-improvement practices.
