Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems seeks a highly experienced Senior Systems Engineer (Level 5) to lead complex missile program efforts at the Chandler, AZ site. You will own major trade studies, manage ICDs, and drive MBSE-based architecture and verification plans across GNC, avionics, propulsion, software, and I&T teams.

The role requires active DoD Secret clearance, strong IPT leadership, and the ability to manage scope, cost, and schedule with CAM and EVM practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with MBSE methods and model-based system design.
• Proven multi-disciplinary systems engineering leadership in complex hardware/software
• Experience as CAM or equivalent for scope, cost and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead system-level trade studies to guide architecture decisions.
• Develop and baseline ICDs for mechanical, electrical, data and software interfaces.
• Apply MBSE to capture requirements, architecture, and verification plans.
• Provide technical leadership across IPTs and multiple engineering domains.
• Manage CAM planning, budgeting, and performance reporting using EVM.
