Cimarron is seeking a Lead Mission Systems Engineer to join an exciting program located in Seal Beach, CA; with options to work from El Segundo, CA, Aurora, CO or Herndon, VA to support development of new first-of-kind space vehicles and missions. Requires active TS/SCI clearance, U.S.

citizenship, and a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; 7+ years in systems engineering and 2+ years in leadership; MATLAB/Python proficiency.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required due to facility security.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Support technology integration for first-of-kind space vehicles and missions.
• Develop and present review packages to internal and external senior leadership.
• Develop physics-based mission simulations to inform system trade studies and verify performance.
• Develop mission flight plans and concepts exploring astrodynamics approaches.
• Develop and maintain operational mission planning tools.
