Job summary

Cimarron Software Services, Inc. seeks a Mid-Level/Associate Mission Systems Engineer to join a Seal Beach, CA program, with options to work from Aurora, CO or El Segundo, CA, to support development of new space vehicles and missions.

Responsibilities include integration, review packages, simulations, and astrodynamics applications in a fast-paced environment. Requires TS/SCI and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Real ID compliant ID required at hire.
• 2+ years of related work experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support integration for first-of-kind space vehicles and missions.
• Develop and present review packages to senior leadership.
• Develop physics-based mission simulations for system trade studies.
• Apply astrodynamics and flight mechanics to mission design and trajectory optimization.
• Identify inefficiencies and develop reusable tools and automations.
