Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Systems Engineer Level 3/4 in Ocean Springs, MS to join the Launcher Hardware/Marine Systems team. You will perform requirements development, system integration and MBSE activities supporting Navy platform projects.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking and the ability to work autonomously or with a team, plus readiness to obtain a DoD secret clearance; remote work is not specified and onsite presence is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM with relevant work experience.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Experience with requirements and interface management.
Familiarity with system drawings, interface documents and MBSE.
Proficiency with IBM Rational DOORS or similar tools.

Responsibilities

Perform requirements development, system integration, verification and validation for total systems.
Support cost, risk, and effectiveness analyses and trade studies.
Create and update System/Subsystem specifications and VCRM matrices.
Lead/coordinate internal and external reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR).
Develop MBSE products: system behavioral models, use case realizations, state machines.
