Job summary

RTX is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer – Architecture and Requirements in Cameo for Tucson, AZ. You will develop architectures, decompose requirements, and verify using Cameo while collaborating with Software, Hardware, Safety, and other teams.

The role is onsite in Tucson. You will work on missile and launcher platforms, pursue fast-paced development programs, and engage with DoD requirements. Relocation and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience working with SMEs, CEs, LSEs, TAs, IPTLs, REAs, and other program stakeholders.
• Experience in defining, decomposing, and verifying requirements using MBSE tools such as Cameo.
• Experience in 2+ areas of the System-V model.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage systems architecture, requirements, interface definitions, and system verification using Cameo with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with Suppliers and Supply Chain for procured items under the REA role.
• Support flight test activities and analyze telemetry data, plus write test reports.
• Develop verification approaches and oversee verification artifacts.
• Coordinate with SMEs across engineering disciplines for technical plans of action.
• Support SPC assessments in factory hardware verification of missile sections and launch platforms.
• Assist in peer reviews and formal release of CDRLs and Technical Data Packages.
