Job summary

RTX is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer for our Tucson, AZ campus. You will lead embedded software requirements, perform model-based systems engineering, and coordinate verification and validation with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver reliable missile-system software solutions.

You will model systems using Cameo, conduct trade studies, and support qualifications, risk assessment, and customer communications.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in STEM and at least 5 years of engineering experience.
• Experience in Systems Engineering and MBSE.
• Experience with MBSE, Requirements Development/Management, Verification, and Integration and Test for software products.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain all system and subsystem level requirements specifications for embedded software, configurable logic and/or test systems software.
• Model the system and the system development and production processes using Cameo.
• Conduct Trade Studies and present results to customers.
• SE technical contributor for verification and validation efforts, ensuring all requirements are being assessed.
• Work closely with the Systems, Software, Configurable Logic and Test teams on a variety of program technical tasks.
• Participate in technical conversations with the customer.
• Become a knowledgeable and ‘go‑to’ Systems Engineer for the software centric program capabilities.
• Help to onboard new team members, mentor, and guide them using core Systems Engineering skills.
