Job summary

RTX is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer – Architecture and Requirements in Cameo for its Tucson, AZ location. This onsite role focuses on creating and decomposing system architectures and requirements for missile and launcher programs, interfacing with cross-functional teams and customers.

You will drive verification strategies, collaborate with suppliers, and support flight-test activities and technical data package releases in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and at least five years of relevant experience.
• Experience with SMEs, CEs, LSEs, TAs, IPTLs, REAs, or other program stakeholders.
• Experience defining decomposition and verification approaches using MBSE tools such as Cameo.
• Experience in two or more areas of the System-V model.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage systems architecture, requirements, interfaces, and verification using Cameo with IPTLs and SMEs.
• Coordinate with Suppliers and Supply Chain for procured items as REA for assemblies.
• Support flight test activities, telemetry analysis, and test report writing.
• Develop SE expertise in development, integration, troubleshooting and failure investigations.
• Participate in technical discussions and plan actions with SMEs across engineering disciplines.
• Support SPC assessments in the factory and hardware verification of missile sections and launch platforms.
• Review peers and release CDRLs and Technical Data Packages.
