Job summary

Captivation Software is seeking a mid-level systems engineer to assist with daily responsibilities, design installations for hardware into chassis and shelters, and coordinate project documentation to meet customer and company requirements.

The role requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance with a favorable polygraph, U.S. citizenship, and a Bachelor's degree in an engineering field. Experience with Ansible, containers, and scripting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field from an accredited college or university.
• Ten years of systems engineering experience.
• U.S. citizen with Top Secret/SCI clearance and favorable polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Develop designs for installation of components and assemblies into chassis, racks, cabinets, workstations, customer facilities, and/or shelters.
• Plan, direct, review, and coordinate the preparation of project documentation to meet contract and company requirements.
• Prepare specifications, evaluate vendors, and analyze test reports.
• Prepare functional requirements and specifications for hardware acquisitions.
• Analyze hardware specifications and system/subsystem requirements to design hardware that meets user needs.
• Develop hardware installation schedules based on setup, integration, and test timelines.
• Conduct site surveys and document current site network configuration and site-specific requirements.
