Job summary
Captivation Software is seeking a mid-level systems engineer to support daily responsibilities and contribute to mission-focused hardware integration. You will develop designs for installation into chassis, racks, and shelters, and coordinate documentation to meet contract and company requirements.
Responsibilities include evaluating vendors, preparing specifications, creating Ansible scripts, and verifying hardware with test reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Ten (10) years of systems engineering experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop designs for installing components into chassis, racks, and shelters.
- Plan and coordinate project documentation to meet contract and company requirements.
- Prepare specifications, evaluate vendors, and analyze test reports.
- Prepare functional requirements for hardware acquisitions.
- Analyze hardware and subsystem requirements to meet user needs.
- Develop hardware installation schedules aligned to setup and test timelines.
- Conduct site surveys and document network configurations and site-specific needs.
